She manages the business development team and account managers, and is directly responsible for performance evaluations, mentoring, coaching and overall team leadership. Danette also directs the talent acquisition process for top companies in the metro area through a strategic, consultative approach to recruiting. She has partnered with over 500 companies as their primary recruiter. Before this position, Danette served as vice president of business development at another agency for seven years. She also held the position of senior staffing manager of business development for 10 years, working with AimHire's managing partners at their first company. Danette received her bachelor's degree in graphic design at Iowa State University. She and her husband have two busy daughters, whose sports and activities consume the weekends. Danette loves to attend her daughter's club volleyball tournaments and help with the team. Scrapbooking weekends with friends and traveling are further hobbies. She also enjoys remodeling projects – she and her husband have purchased and remodeled three different homes. The family has three dogs.
