Position: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Firestone, CO
Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 annually
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days per week in office)

Description
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a collaborative and growing finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys ownership, process improvement, and working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day accounts payable functions while supporting month-end close as well as additional accounting responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable processing
• Process weekly payment runs and vendor payments
• Maintain vendor records and purchase orders
• Review invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals, and compliance
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and general ledger support
• Support annual audit preparation and requests
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial operations

• 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable experience
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite required
• General ledger and month-end close experience required
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
